KCM Fact Sheet

When it was registered in the year 2000, Campbell R. Bridges became its first Chaiman, while Frederick G. Theuri was its Interim Chief Executive. As big players in the mining industry continued supporting it, the chamber grew stronger and was greatly involved in solving disputes, consultancy works, fighting for legal rights of the small-scale mines and constitutional amendment in 2006. The Kenya Chamber of Mines has over 50 members, both large, medium and small companies.
