To work hand in hand with the government to ensure that sensible, pragmatic laws govern the mineral industry and maintain high standards and correct core values in the industry.

A liaison between the government and private sector to create a secure, vibrant and prosperous mining environment in Kenya.

The chamber commits itself to live up to the highest ideals of transparency, seeks to be trustworthy, respectful and honest; to be socially responsible, and promote and pursue justice in the mining and minerals sector. As a consequence, Kenya Chamber of Mines shall:
